GOD GAVE ME A 2ND CHANCE AT LIFE

In November 2013, I had a really bad stomach ache that just wouldn't go away, which was located under my rib cage on the right side radiating all the way to the back. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with having gallstones in my gallbladder. I was scheduled to have my ERCP, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, a procedure where they go into my stomach into the bile duct, gallbladder, etc. to see if i have any stones and where the stones are located via a scope. This happened on December 2, 2013. No stones were found. After the procedure, I was discharged but about 15 minutes later, I started feeling a burning sensation and more pain, excruciating than before I had the procedure. I ended up being sent to the ER again by my gastroenterologist, and was admitted that same day. The doctor that saw me at the hospital, had me transferred to the ICU to monitor me more closely. They found out that the doctor had accidentally pushed the scope too far down into my pancreas, which enflamed my pancreas and in turn developed into pancreatitis. My first 3 nights in the ICU was really scary as I really thought God was calling me and believe me I was ready to go to Him, and see Him. All my numbers were too high and that I was in a really bad medical condition, and that I wouldn't make it. But after my third night, along with all the continuous prayers from families and friends, especially a dedication and novena to the Divine Mercy, and the most Holy Rosary, I started becoming stable and on my 7th day in the ICU, was transferred to the step down unit. Was there for another 7 days. While recovering here in this unit, I was out of it because of all the pain meds they were giving me, I was doubting and questioning whether or not I was dying or was I getting better. Then I heard a voice calling me, "MY CHILD, or MY DAUGHTER" and it was Our Lord, reassuring me that everything was going to be fine. I was so moved and touched that He let me know that. I kept listening again to see if He would speak to me again but I didn't anymore.. =( I was again transferred to the recovery unit or med surg unit for another 4 or 5 days, where I developed C-DIFF, Clostridium Difficile Colitis, which was an infection of my large intestine because of too much antibiotics while I was in the hospital. I was FINALLY discharged on December 20, 5 days before Christmas in 2013!!!!!

God is SOOO good! He wanted me to be home with my family and I am so thankful to Him everyday, for His mercy, kindness, love and healing!!
