I have been a stay-at-home mom for 14 years. Now that my kids are older and college bound, I need to return to work. I am not getting calls for interviews and sometimes I feel like I am not getting the positive support I need to find a job. I have done everything job counselors have told me to do but I still get no traction. I feel like the employers treat the fact that I took time out to raise my children a detriment to society. I did not want to give 50% to my job and 50% to the kids. I have updated my skills through taking computer refresher courses and I am volunteering as a trainer at a local networking group. Please pray that I get an opportunity other than the commission only insurance sales jobs.

Please pray for me that I will find employment soon in a position that challenges me in a caring, Christian work environment.

Things have become more expensive as the kids have gotten older. I need prayers that we will have enough financial resources for some of these items without dipping into savings.
