Living by faith is been my life for many years. It hasn't always been that way, But as I learned to let go of me and embrace him,even through the storms you can have peace. The city decided that the concrete in front of our house had been pushed up by tree roots, and had to be fixed in 90 days, so we called the Land lord who came out 3 days later to fix the problem. Our Landlord is 5'3 and Asian, and was trying to lift the concrete slab up with 2 long crowbars and a couple of 2 x 4's, I had a lot of editing to finish, but the Lord spoke to my heart to go out and help him. I went out to assist him and stayed till we got it moved forward to grind down the roots. When we attempted to move the concrete back in place, my foot accidentally slipped under the conctrete slab and the manager dropped his side and broke my foot in 2 places. I didn't feel the full pain until we were done and tried to turn and walk back into the house I fell at the front door in severe pain, when I tryed to stand up I could see the bone poking up under the skin. I was in so much pain I screamed, reached for the pain pills which didn't help much, My wife and daughter tried to convince me to go to the hospital but for some reason I refused and said God will take care of this, That night was the hardest night to sleep, but at one point God minimized the pain so I could get a little sleep. The next morning I was awoke by a voice in my spirit that told me to get up I heard it 2 more times when I pulled the covers back and noticed a lot of the swelling went down, Then I heard it again, GET UP AND WALK!!! i know better than to argue with God, so by faith I sat at the end of my bed feet touching the floor, I stood my self up with one hand on the wall. When I stepped down on that foot it was still sore but I could walk on it, I heard the Lord say run, so I ran back and forth in the room and with each step the pain was leaving The very next day I was walking normal with no pain!!, I trust God to do what he said he will do. God did a miraculuos healing that day. He also answered my prayers for a new SUV, I told him what color and condition and that I want it free and delived to the house.(I prayed the same prayer in Alabama and God delived) So a month ago being without a car for 2 years
That following sunday after that prayer, My sister walked up to me in church and said she bought a brand new car and need to get rid of her 2005 jeep renegade, Black on gray, new tire, battery,etc. She said she will deliver it to the house and gave me the title and the extra keys. I SAY ALL THIS TO SAY, YOU HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE POWER TO SPEAK A THING INTO EXISTANCE WHETHER BAD OR GOOD, EITHER YOUR GOING TO TRUST GOD AND WALK BY FAITH OR YOUR GOING TO TRY AND WORK THINGS OUT BY YOURSELF. GOT fired from my job in 2013 at a bank 5 days later God replace my income with a flood of video jobs. gave me the vehicle I wanted and the equipment I asked for, now I'm teaching young actors for roles in film, Did I mention I don't get paid and provide the equipment, meals, headshots,auditions,film roles etc. I sow into these peoples lives and they are growing in numbers and as a family. No I don't stand on the street corners shouting the word, I live my life as an example And people are drawn more by your Godly example than many words. Be encouraged and stop talking to God like he's some dictator or waiting to punish you. Start looking and talking to him like a real loving Father. You will find a change in your circumstances and remember, When you ask God for something be specific. And detailed, Then while your continuing on your path, he's preparing a blessing in front of you. Stop being so impatient. Praise him for those things you asked for by faith. Never let doubt slip in, it takes longer when your faith wavers. Be blessed.
