The years 2015 - 2017 were extremely challenging for me. Only by the grace of God did I make it through. July 2015, my older son whom had never given me any trouble went to jail out of our state residence and was facing 20 years. October 2015 I walked away from my home and a 16 year marriage because my husband was having an affair and was bringing the woman into our home. November 2015, my younger brother dropped dead from a massive heart attack. December 2016, my stepfather died, and April 2017 my stepmother died. The oldest child, what a heavy load I had to bare in helping my parents. BUT GOD! God gave me strength to journey through it all. He strengthen me where I was weakened and gave me His perfect peace in the midst of the storm. December 2016, my son was released. July 2017 I was able to move back into my home. December 2017 my divorce was finalized. ONLY by the grace of God, did I not lose my mind. Only by the grace of God can I face tomorrow. I kept my focus on God and His word. Through prayers, I was able to stay close to God and not give up on my faith. God is good and faithful to His word. I give Him all the glory! He will NEVER leave us or forsake us! He will fight our battles. Just keep an clear mind and pure heart. Do everything decent and in order - regardless of the situation.
