Ten years ago I was leading a normal life. I could take walks, go where I wanted to go. My family and I went to England to visit my daughter and her family. Her husband was in the Military. We were there for almost a month. On the last day I started getting sick. I was coughing so much. By the time I got home I had to go to the ER. I was told I had Pulmonary Fibrosis. Through the coming year I went through so many test. The doctor told me I had a few years to live. I was just brought to my knees. I cried, screamed tried to make sense of it all. I was a good person, I always tried to help people. I realized I was in this position because I made wrong choices in life. I had never smoked, only experimenting in high school and I just couldn't inhale the smoke, so I gave up (thank God) I don't drink or do drugs. I'm Diabetic. My dad's whole family have lung problems. The only way I have gotten through this is through the Lord. It's been ten years. It's been hard. My whole life has changed. But God and my family have been by my side. Don't take chances- make changes in your life. Glory be to God!!
