I thank God for the blessing of a beautiful September day. The heat and humidity have been replaced with warm sunshine, gentle breezes and birds singing their songs outside. I am thankful for my health, a roof over my head, a job to go to, a vehicle to get me there. I am thankful for being able to sit on my deck with a hot mug of coffee, sharing the beauty of the outdoors with my dogs, parrots and small birds. I see my cats sitting on the window ledges, meowing to come out. I planted fall plants to welcome the harvest season that has already begun. I chopped fresh fruit and vegetables for the birds to enjoy. I fed the wild birds fresh sunflower seeds and put out new suet blocks for them to enjoy. I smile thinking about my wonderful family and friends. I look forward to the projects that will keep me busy inside this weekend as the storms approach, giving the plants and trees much-needed rain. I am thankful for the inspirational messages I find here every day and being able to praise and pray with those who post their messages here, as well as for those who don't. God is great!
