I ask that you pray for me in my friendship with this amazing woman. She has fallen on hard times ,struggling to raise her 4 y/o grandson on her own ,while caring for her 88 y/o Grandfather at the same time. Her Family offers little help ,but plenty of criticism . She just came off many months of Unemployment, w/o any benefits ,and is working at virtually Minimum wage ,in order to keep what Public aid she receives. and ,NOW, she just received notice that ,because She DID find a job, they are cutting her benefits by $411/ month !!!!! She only works 30 hrs/wk,and makes $8/hr. ,so her net income is about $210/wk, and the Great State of Texas just took HALF of that away !!!Pray that I can do the right things,say the right words ,to show her how much I care ,How much I love her ,and that ,I am here for the long haul,no matter what.
