Prayer Request

Heavenly Father, I don't understand why I am faced with this kind of situation. Father, you know what it would mean for Chris and I to have his son here next month when we get married. I don't understand how anyone can be so hateful and selfish and do such damage to her own child. Why won't the child's mother relent and accept that Chris isn't with her anymore, and no amount of her games will change that? Why can't she see that the damage she is doing will come home to her some day? Why can't she see that she's hurting and stealing from her own child? Father, please move on Emily's heart. Help her to see clearly what she is doing. Take away from her the darkness and evil residing in her heart and show her what damage she is doing to her son. Help her to accept that he choices and actions cost her her relationship with Chris, and nothing she does is going to change that. Help her to understand that Chris and I will be married, and that I'm not going anywhere, ever. Stop this wickedness in her. Stop her evil from winning in this situation. Guide Chris and I, that we might free his son from this game that Emily is playing, before to much damage is done. Move our hearts and place in us the will to see Emily as you want us to see her. Help us to approach this situation with love, not hate. But Father, I ask that you help us be successful in getting this child away from this extrememly unstable, and in my assessment dangerous, woman- for the child's sake above all others. God, please help me in this to be the wife that Chris needs right now. He needs your strength Lord. He is so wounded by this. You know the decisions that he is considering, and you know what that will do to him if he finds that choice to be his only course of action. Father, may your will be done in this. I ask that you place your hand of protection on that dear child, and keep him safe from all of the things around him that could harm him, and from the poison that has infected his mother. I pray in the precious name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ... Amen!
