I learned my ex-husband was coming to florida to visit our children who are now grown. This man beat me for 8 years, and during our divorce preceedings kidnapped my two children who were 5 & 6 years old. I was dead set against the visit even thou they are now 24 & 25 years old, my mother told me i needed to 4-give him for years i resented and hated him and carried alot of anger. The bible tells us we must 4-give our enemies, for doing us wrong, even thou for years i had nightmares,i thought about what my mom said, I 4-gave him, and a weight was lifted off my shoulders i did see him and he could not even look at him but i no longer wanted to kill him for what he did to me and to the kids. Although me and my husband of 12 years gave him a bible and talked to him about God it did not do any good i am asking prayer God will open monnie's heart to him and also that God will open my son's heart and my daughter-in-laws heart to him also.
