I was abused badly by my mother as a child and it left deep scars. My adult sibling always downplays or flat out denies what I went through and acts as if I am crazy or lying, even though I know I am not. Can you pray that I am released from my shame and confusion, that the truth comes out, that my mother and sister both get the help they need to heal and face the past and that I am not so consumed by this anymore? Please also pray that I keep appropriate boundaries with my family so I don't get hurt and that I treat them well and with kindness, but without letting them into my life.
