I am the Superintendent for a small and very rural Native American school. We are in desperate needs of funds to continue to stay open for these precious children. We are a k-8 school and the children have the school as their only safe haven from lives of physical abuse, abandonment, alcohol and drug abuse, abject poverty and suicide. 90% of our children are unwanted and live with someone who only has them to receive a monthly check. The money is never spent on our children but at the casino or alcohol and drugs. The money is usually gone the first few days with no food for the rest of the month.For many the only meals they receive are the ones we prepare for them at school.They live in unsafe subsidized houses with sometimes 8 or more children in one room.It is cruelty and sadness beyond comprehension. I have been able to bring the word of God and hope to our school. We start every day with a prayer and I love these precious lambs as my own children. Please pray we can continue God's work!
