Lord, you know the desires of my heart, you also know my sins. Please forgive me for being judgmental, proud, selfish, anxious, weak in faith, and insecure. I thank you for my family, vocation, health, resources, opportunities and talents. Please help me to accept things that are beyond my control, help me to be more loving, kind, and forgiving. I pray for employment opportunities for those in my life that are unemployed, I pray for healing for the sick and food and shelter for the hungry and homeless. I especially pray for a hedge of protection around my children, my husband, his children and our extended families. May the Holy Spirit, the power of Christ, and the love of the Father be with all. Amen
