Last year my father passed away. For many years we did not speak. A few months before he passed we started talking again. I live with the guilt of all those years lost, birthdays, holiday, and time with grandchildren. There are some days it weighs very heavily on me. There are so many others with greater needs I feel like I shouldn't be asking.
