Lord, I am very hurt and frustrated today. But despite that, thank you for the strength that you gave me so I could tolerate the pain. When I am down I just try to remember Romans 8:18 that the sufferings and pain I am experiencing right now will not compare to the happiness that will come.

I don't know why, but I am really saddened. I know that this heartache I am feeling cannot compare to what others are experiencing and therefor this feeling may not be valid. However, I will just keep myself busy to avoid the thought of heartbreak. So help me, God. Please guard me and my heart. Please help me become a better person and stop being too kind to the extent of destabilizing myself. Amen.
