Thanks again for prayers for me & my family & friends & our pets. It definitely isn't the same without my former friend Beth. I think I can be forgiven for not realizing that our friendship was ending, as she said, because my negativity was causing problems in her marriage. In the last 2 greeting cards she sent me, both she & her husband signed, and she specifically signed "Love, Your best friend, Always in my heart." I think I will feel the loss of her friendship more as time goes on & I don't have her to talk to, but in the meantime I am surprised that our friendship is ending after 31 years, but not emotionally devastated as I would expect to be. She has been very happy that a dedicated senior center has opened close to her home, and I'm sure the people there will be more helpful to her than I was.

In the meantime, I am praying & asking for prayers for my husband & me. I particularly pray that we will not encounter the catastrophic circumstances that we are potentially facing, some as individuals & some as a couple.
