Please pray for my friend Christelle Farah Douge who's been courageously battling colon cancer since her initial diagnosis in 2007. One of the most selfless and caring people I personally know, Farah's never been one to put herself before others or ask for anything. A determined college student ambitiously seeking a career in nursing, Farah still built up the strength to go to her classes even when she was receiving chemotherapy. Unfortunately now her cancer has become more aggressive, spreading to her liver and peritoneal abdomen. A few days after her birthday on October 16, Farah was given a 6 month prognosis for her condition. The chemotherapy she has been receiving at St. Vincent's is no longer as effective as it needs to be and the next cancer center that can offer her a better form of treatment needs $50,000 in order to assist her since she does not have medical insurance.
