I am asking for prayers on behalf of my very good friend, Sandi, who was diagnosed with Schogren's Disease about 6 years ago, a horrible, debilitating auto-immune disease. As a result of a poor immune system, she was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer 2 years ago and has undergone chemo and surgery repeatedly. Her health is rapidly declining and her prognosis is not good. About a month ago, she suddently woke up to total darkness, as she developed a tumor on her optic nerve. She underwent surgery a couple of weeks ago; however, there is no change in her sight. She is a very strong and faithful person who has always been there for others, including me. Sandi has 6 beautiful grandchildren with another on the way. I know that her grandchildren are what keeps her going and tries to stay positive, but I know she is so scared. I am praying for a miracle...she is too young to leave us. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family, along with friends who love her need her to get well. Please pray that God will help Sandi to beat the odds and keep her here for us to enjoy a while longer. Thank you so much and God Bless you all.
