Growing up with great madness, drama and urban complexities all around me, I never understood why or what made or drove people mad.

I am an intellectually curious person, and I probe about many disciplines of life and see how they link together.

There has been a lot of research and science on mental health but the search for solutions for them has never caught on. Overall, although there has been some progress in the mental health field, it's frustrating to see people (and actually, if you think about it biblically, the devil) paying lip service to the cause.

I had these people in my life, but half the time I didn't know what to do with them. But after each time I come out of it alive, each time I bounce back stronger and I begin to see what God was trying to use me for.

He saw I was ready for larger things. But this meant greater risk of my own mental, physical, social health - to which I am responsible for, and I know I can't do this on my own.

So lately, He gave me the privilege of working at a highly influential place and I began to understand how the literature of psychology, neurology, physiology, social psychology, body language and motivational psychology fall into place. I kept learning how and why certain things were done, and sometimes, the more I think about it, the more I hurt for the people in this world because they were being manipulated.

What I realized about people labeled as "mentally ill" is that they have a lot of creative energies, but are untapped. I want to see what brand of creative energies they have to tap on. In the long term, it'll help to build them up - piece by piece.

God has been speaking to me and I have been fighting to work with and for Him; He has been merciful.

And never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined myself saying this, but I seek all your prayers in helping to strengthen the community by engaging and not stop innovating. Because don't forget - you have your own innovative capacity and potential too.

But you have to know your own powers. If you find that you have a gift or ability, be responsible and aware enough to let people know that absolute power corrupts absolutely - and you will pray that God will put people around you to be responsible for you to share that power. The only one who needs to have absolute power is God, so, please, let us stay strong and faithful.

And, recognizing my potential and powers, I hope that you guys will pray for me, and pray for those you hurt and those who know are hurting, too. I love all of you.
