Something very similar has happened to me and my blood relative (brother) is the one responsible for me loosing my home. I know how badly this hurts, not just financially but also emotionally. I never fathomed people, especially ones own blood relatives could be so evil and devious in their actions to swindle others who aren't as financially stable as they are and I am without a partner/spouse to help rely on financially as well. People have literally broken the wonderful life I once was living.. These are people to never ever be given your trust or care ever again. I will pray that your situation changes. Through God anything is possible, but only through Him. Never rely on mankind to treat you kindly or fairly, that is the lesson I have learned through all of this turmoil.
