This time of the year is always difficult for me. This time of the year, is the time when families get together and share. My parents split up long ago. My dad is alone, not happy and getting older. I am far away from my mom and it is hard to go and see her. I have no relationship with my brother, even though I try to initiate, is not welcomed. I see all of my friends having a great time with their families- how happy it makes them. I am alone, and have to rely on myself to make myself happy, but its so hard sometimes.
