I am a caregiver for an elderly couple (both 85yrs old). The man is in the process of passing now and we are all struggling with what is bound to happen. I have been caring for this couple for almost 2 years now, needless to say I do not feel like this is my "job", for a long time now I have felt a connection to them and their family. So for me this is much harder than it has been in the past when people pass. Ive worked in nursing homes and other facilities for almost 20 years so death is not new to me however I have been with these two for a long time now 7days a week so this to me is like I am losing a family member and not a client. Please pray for Dick that God will comfort him in his time of need and make this as painless as possible. Also pray for his wife Maria, they have spent more than 60 years together and the love they have for one another is love like I have never seen before. May God bless all of you in return who will take a moment and say a prayer for these two very special people that are going through a very difficult life experience.
