I just had surgery recently and it didn't go too well. I am in some uncontrollable pain and to top that off things are right between my oldest daughter and I. I need for the Lord to give me peace and understanding about this situation, as well as heal my body as I have a 10 year old to take care of.

I am asking for prayer that I may not be quick with my tongue when I am get upset or angry. I have just recently come back to my home church, and my mouth is still that of the world I left behind. I want to be more disciplined to think before I speak.

Also, that I gain strength to learn to say no to others at appropriate times. I am easy to help someone in an enabling way. I want to be able to learn to concentrate on my family more rather than the happiness of others. I want so much to be like I was before I left the church. I am having trouble drawing close to God and seeking His face.
