Asking for prayers for a friend and fellow classmate that had a severe stroke. I know that it is God's will; however, if it be his will, let her recooperate fully and give the Doctors, Nurses, and Therapists the knowledge and wisdom to be able to help her with all that she is experiencing!
It turns out we are on schedule, but that our baby is 2 weeks behind. We were sent to a specialist and speculate the baby may be small due to the hemorrage and blood clot we had in the gestational sac. There may still be blood restrictions and we are going to get a second opinion. We ask that all our prayer warriors pray for a vital, full-term pregnancy and healthy baby BOY!!! Yes, we are having a BOY and are excited! Please pray that there will be no more blood restrictions and that the baby will continue to grow. Thank you in advance for your prayers! These prayers are for The baby of Brad & Meredith!
My Baby Update: We went to the specialist today and we still need your prayers. The baby is in danger as he is having to work extra hard to push blood due to placenta issues (growth restrictions). There may also be chromosonal issues. The prognosis was not good, but we serve a God of miracles. Please continue to join us in prayer for our Grant Bradley. :)
This update is from my nephew & his wife, Brad & Meredith Buegeler. Please put them & their 1st baby in your prayers! Thanks!
Baby Update: Placenta/blood flow condition has stayed the same..no worse and no better, which is good news that it hasn't gotten worse. Growth will be measured next Monday. We will be going to the speciliast weekly now to keep monitoring with dopplers and/or growth. Still taking it week by week as to when it will be necessary for him to be delivered. Thanks for the prayers and keep them up...Praising God that Grant can stay put for at least another week! This is the latest post from my nephew & his wife. Please to continue to pray for Grant & his family! Thanks!
Baby update: Grant grew eight ounces in three weeks (so now he is 1 pound 5 ounces)...specialist glad he grew. Placenta restrictions stayed the same so that is good news as well. staying on bedrest and protein drinks...go back in a week for next checkup. This is the latest update on my great nephew. Please continue to pray for Mom & baby!
Baby update: Intermittent absence of blood flow is becoming more frequent he believes so now I am to go in more often during the week to get monitored. i am to also get steroid shots which is to help mature the babys lungs. He said baby will most likely need to be taken between 10 and 14 days from now and will probably be delivered at 2 pounds. He said he is more concerned with age right now vs weight. Tomorrow is 30 weeks and baby is 1 pound 12 ounces. Please pray for us as I will have to have csection and baby will most likely get transported to tx childrens once stabilized. We are very anxious and appreciate everyones prayers. Thank you for your prayers. This was the latest baby update that I got for my nephew & his wife. I have been asking for prayers & continue to ask for prayers for mom & baby. Thank you prayer warriors!
This is the latest update for my nephew's wife & baby. Please keep them in prayer. Baby Update: The intermittent absence of blood flow is still occuring, but today there was no reversal of blood flow (like on Wednesday). My specialist has agreed to see me on Monday morning even though Friday was his last day and Monday the office is closed! (Can I just say I have one of THE BEST doctors ever?!) He said we will reevaluate then and if he sees reverse blood flow then he said to be ready for Grant to be taken Monday or the next day. If no reverse blood flow, then still day to day decision. He is happy that he can keep prolonging his arrival...the longer he can stay in the better! Thank you for praying...keep it up!!!
My great-nephew & his mom need prayers. This is her last Grant update per her status:
Today was a really bad day. I went to see Grant before surgery and was informed that he has MRSA, which is a form of staph and is spread by contact. I truly am convinced (but can not prove)that this was spread by poor practice by some nurses as the babies (twins) next to Grant have it and are in "isolation" for the remaineder of their stay. Well wouldn't you know that their nurses are the same as Grants. I have seen negligence on their part making it highly probably that it was spread that way. I know that MRSA is spread very easily and alot of ppl carry it, but to know it may have been prevented makes me furious. Grant has done so well and now to be informed of this makes me very angry. We have been "OCD" crazy and gone over and beyond to scrub up and alchohol ourselves if we touch ANYTHING. I had already complained that if the twins were in "isolation" then they should have their own nurse. In the event that Grant were to have an emergency and if they had to come running in ....which DID HAPPEN last night, it could have easily been the point of infection! Grant also had another episode of not breathiing again today. They were able to bring him back a little easier today, but by the time they got to him he had already turned real blue. Please pray that Grant's test will come back negative each time they test again for MRSA and that when he is old enough he can be treated and it can go away for good..sometimes it doesn't go away and can cause skin lesions later in life. We already reported this to the hospital and hope that something can be done so that this does not happen again for other babies.
I was informed of this literally 30 minutes before I was to meet for surgery so needless to say I was an emotional wreck going into surgery. Our relationship with the Lord and your prayers are what are getting us through everthing, so keep them coming please.
My praises...
Today my surgery went fine. They were able to remove the stones and the gallbladder with no complications. Praise God it went smoothly...now if I can just get some sleep (which I actually want to so badly but can't because of all of the stress).
Grant's first eye exam came back normal.!tatus:
Submit your prayer request. Thousands of caring people will see it and pray for you.
