I feel like Daniel going into the lion's den! My ex is suing for custody of our daughter. He has an attorney, who I've been told is pretty good. I, on the other hand, do not. I qualify (barely) for legal aid, but I was told the office here is "too busy" to take my case. I don't have the funds to pay an attorney outright. My ex is judgmental and has a "holier than thou" attitude. He wants our daughter because he is married and has another child and I'm a "single parent on disability." My daughter has multiple health issues that my ex refuses to address. A court date is scheduled for next week and it will be me against him and his team. I feel at such a disadvantage because I do not have representation. I'm scared. I know he loves our child, but he honestly does not know what is best for her due to his lack of participation in her life for the last 12 years. Please pray for my situation.

I am asking for prayers for my better half's mother. She is 76 and is going into surgery this morning. Friday it was discovered that she has a bundle blockage in her heart. This surgery is kind of a "blind" surgery if you will - they don't know what they'll find, therefore they don't know what will be required to fix the problem. (Maybe a stint, bypass, etc.) I pray that all goes fantastic and she pulls through with flying colors. Thank you all so much. God bless.

Not only is the man in my life having serious health issues that require prayer, but he also lost his job of 14 years yesterday. I am scared for his well being as he has also been suffering with depression for some time now. I am so numb right now; this is a wonderful man and truly deserves nothing but the best. (He also just closed a home loan last week; building a new home.) I don't even know where to start with what he needs at this point in his life to help him through these trials, but I know our loving God does. Please say a prayer for him. Any words of advice or encouragement are greatly appreciated. Thanks to you all.
