My son, Jordan, age 23, has contracted MRSA following a surgery on his foot & ankle. The same foot & ankle were broken in a 2009 accident & have endured a total of six surgeries; two have occurred within the last two weeks. Along with this situation, Jordan has become a first-time father. He & his girlfriend were going to give the baby up fpr adoption, but became so attached they just couldn't go through with it. We're thrilled to have him, but this young couple needs maturity & a reality check that life is now about their child, not about their petty fights & toxic relationship. Asking for healing prayers, for the Lord to cast out every bit of the MRSA infection so that my son doesn't lose his foot or his life to it. Prayers for the adjustment to parenthood for these young folks, & for healthy coping with all the joys & challenges that are inherent with the arrival of a new baby.
