On March 4th of 2012, I was placed on kidney dialysis. I have done well & even a friend of mine that has already gone through 2 kidney transplants (as the first one failed), says that she wishes she could have been more like me & been more accepting of being placed on dialysis. Well, over a year later I am still hoping that KU-Med Hospital's transplant team will place me on the kidney transplant list. I am waiting for them to see how my blood pressure, getting my teeth taken care of, my cholesterol down & the plaque in my right carotid artery is less or in better shape. I would love to have prayer for everything working out fine & my getting a kidney transplant in the not too distant future & that I'll be able to handle living alone in Kansas City for at least a year after I do get a transplant. I am still waiting, after a year ago being placed on kidney dialysis, to be placed on the kidney transplant list. I now know that after a cardiology testing & angiogram that I have damage to my heart, like my kidneys, it's something I grew up with. My cardiologist says that he can repair it & then I can be placed on the kidney transplant list. Please, pray for me & Dr. Gupta, that he can repair my heart & I will be placed on the kidney transplant list. Thank You & God Bless You & Yours!!

I need prayers that everything will be just fine!! I just was put on hemo-dialysis in March & I am now on a kidney transplant list. Also, the same time I was put on the dialysis they told me I have 3 gall stones & on July 23rd they are taking my gall bladder out. Thank You for your prayers!!!
