please pray for us.
we are really struggling right now... my husband (a 6 x vet) couldn't find a job to support us... he decided (with my FULL support) to return to school as he was presented with the opportunity to use his GI bill on a new degree being offered... (long=short) he is becoming a helicopter pilot and will also have an aeronautical degree when he's done (which is something he always dreamed of doing but never thought he'd have the opportunity; isn't God AMAZING?!)
the two biggest problems we have are that the school is an hour 45 minutes away from where we live right now. he is going through a tank of gas every 2 days... add it up; it's not pretty. not to mention that is 3 1/2 hours drive time (non rush hour, if he's late it's longer) added on to his school time and then he still has to get his homework done. right now he has straight a's!! he's working really hard. the point here is that we need to move closer to his schooling. the problems are many though... we have a ranchette... renting... we lost our home a few years ago in the countrywide/vetran scandal... we have 3 dogs, 3 horses, about 20 chickens and a cat. are you seeing the problems??
to add to the issues i am trying to financially help out; i started a mary kay business to help us get through. (it's not going well...) i have some degenerative problems with my back so even getting around sometimes is a real challenge... point is i have quite a few meds... right now we are trying to survive on his unemployment (thank God he has enough saved up that he can collect it right now while in school) but we are drowning in our bills. i really need some prayer support to get out there and make some income. i'm scared. that's what it comes down to. i raised my kids and was blessed enough to have a husband that agreed that i should be at home with them... my children are now out on their own so this is a really big change for me.
thank you so much if you read through all of this... i can't burden my children with this... (my oldest and her husband are really struggling too because we owe them a car payment that we haven't been able to make... we bought it from them for much more than it's worth because we were helping them out at the time and now we've become part of the problem!!!) please forgive my rambling.... just getting it out is helping a bit though; and i know God will see us through... prayer support is so gladly appreciated though. THANK YOU..
