I was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 9. I was told that I could out grow it but if I still had seizures at 18 that I would have them for life. My Neurologist told me about a brain surgery I should have that removes the part of the brain that the seizures were coming from. I was a good candidate because the seizures came from one part of my brain. At that time my faith was not strong enough to look at the positive outcome, I could only think about the negatives. Later in my life while I was in prayer I heard the words "call the doctor." I knew then that the doctor was my Neurologist. This time I called because GOD told me to. Because HE told me I knew everything was going to be alright. December 5th, 6th, 7th are memorable days. I checked into NIH on the 5th, had a seizure (last) on the 6th, and surgery on the 7th. I haven't had any seizures since the 6th and December 7, 2018, I will be 13 years seizure free, PRAISE GOD!!!
