Why are people so mean. All I do is pray for love family and friends. I feel I am a good person. I help everyone and send positive messages to people. Its getting harder to see the light in people. Why do I not receive. What am I doing wrong?

My son had been acting up lately. I am a single parent and life has been hard lately. My mom died almost 2 years ago. We stayed with her to help her. After she died we moved to a different state. After taking care of my mom and her estate, I needed a fresh start. Now that my son is acting up it's making me feel like I can't get relief and wish I had a person to help me stay strong. I wish I had someone to tell me everything will be alright.
