Dear Lord, Mighty and Powerful God, I thank you for all the blessings that you have showered me and my family with. I thank You for all the trials that have come my way, which have taught me to hold on tighter to You. I thank you for the gift of family, my children especially, for the healthy and loving parents I have, for the friends who have remained with me, for the job that I keep, and for all kinds of help and assistance that I get on a daily basis, even from complete strangers. I continue to seek for Your guidance, Dear Lord, so that in everything I do, I will do what pleases you most. You know the problems that I have, and I pray that you will continue to give me strength to face them. I pray for the people who have hurt me. Please teach me to forgive them. I pray for them too, that they may soon realize Your goodness, and reciprocate You by doing only good to others. I pray for continued good health that I may continue to support the family I have; I pray for good employment opportunities to provide for my kids and parents, relatives, friends and other strangers who may be in need. I pray for our country and the rest of the world. Please spare us all from all forms of calamities, natural and man-made.l pray for Peace that we may continue to enjoy the life of grace that you have bestowed on us. I ask for your forgiveness, Lord for all the times I have not heeded You and Your call to goodness. I ask for your forgiveness, for the anger and bitterness I still keep in my heart for those who have hurt me. Forgive me, too, for inflicting pain on the people I am supposed to love with all my heart. And finally, forgive me for not helping others as much as I ought to, which shows my lack of love and trust in you, as well. Help me to become a better person in every way. These I ask, in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen
