I pray for peace and harmony in my life and my family's lives. I pray for your guidance, love, mercy, wisdom and grace to be with us in our trials and tribulations; in our times of happiness and sharing. I pray we remember what is important in life and not lose sight of what you intend for us. In God's name. Amen.

I wanted to ask for a prayer not to be said for me, but for my father. I have found out today that he's suffering from Liver Cancer. He's a proud man, not one for drawing attention to himself in times such as this. He's always tried to be the strong one regardless of what he was going through. Over his life he's not seen the best of man and carried little faith in God and his works. Now, in his time of need, I know more than ever he needs to know God is there with him during his journey even though he may not see him. God loves him as he does all his children. I would ask that my father is blessed with this knowledge that God waits to hold him and bring him home in the time he has left, and that this knowledge gives him peace instead of fear of not knowing what waits for him when death comes. I know God will reveal himself when the time is right. I pray that what he takes with him and what he will receive is the love that always was.
