You aren't praying because you are in the anger phase of healing . Anger and denial. I lost a son 25 years ago now and a husband 4 years ago and I just remember not only not praying, but also not eating any of the favorite foods of that person or doing their chores. Something inside me was so full of unrecognized anger that I thought that they should still be there to do these things with me. You will get through it. You will not be the same, but you will survive. Life will go on and you will have memories, and you will have prayer again. God is still there and he is crying for you, but this was something that was in the Master's plan. It is not clear why, but it was not under your control. God gives us our children to raise, and sometimes he wants them back. Pray when you can. Maybe just a little prayer at first, it will come back. Meanwhile we pray for you .
