Jacob is 8 years old and has have been diagnosed with a rare malignant brain tumor called Gliomatosis Cerebri. It's really hard to find, because it spreads out before it gets thick enough to be visible.
He likes making jokes and giving noogies, and loves giving hugs. He likes watching movies about super-heroes very much, but he likes acting them out even more, especially with his brothers!
On the morning of July 12th that's what he would have been doing, but he had a seizure. His parents took me to the ER and they did a CT scan. They originally thought it was a brain bleed. They sent them to a children's hospital in Pennsylvania where they diagnosed me with a very aggressive brain tumor which was treated with equally aggressive chemo and radiation on his brain and spine where it has since spread, along with every other available method recommended by his doctors.
This has been very tough on his family, with trips back-and-forth to Childrens Hospital Of Philadelphia from New Jersey where they live, unpaid time off work and time spent away from his brothers and friends. And they still have a long fight ahead of them, so we really appreciate your support!
