Dear God, I know all my prayers have been nothing but requests every single time. I always ask for you to bless me, to give me strength and courage, and to guide me to where you will me to be. I’m sorry if it always seems that I’m asking you for something. But really, with the time that passes while I’m in this place, I feel more defeated and more afraid every day. All I have is this tiny ember of hope, that one day I will be free from this place and its horrors. I’m so weak, God. Most of the time, all I need is you to carry me because I don’t have the strength anymore. I need you to just tell me what to do to be happy and unafraid, because I just feel lost and tired now. I really need you here with me, God.
I know life could be really tough for some of us, including you. But please know that you are loved. No matter how hard it is to get up everyday and face another day in a world who doesn’t understand you, please know that you can get through all this. Keep faith that there will be better days. For now, ask God to give you new hope to enjoy today’s gifts, to see the world with new eyes. Whenever you feel lonely and not understood, remember that Someone does and that He dearly loves you. Never forget that. Praying for you.
