There is a young man I know who is troubled, for his privacy, I will not reveal his name. His parents are addicted to Meth, their house is known as the "drug house" of town. He hates it there, and the only reason he stays is he has freedom to be an individual. He has the opportunity to live with his grandparents in the same town, but is so scared he will lose "himself" and be in a much stricter environment. He told me that he wants to live with his grandparents, but he's just scared. This boy is intelligent, with a gpa OVER 3.2, he is a believer, and attends the same church as his grandparents. He knows if he stays with his parents that he will turn out like them, that he won't be able to get a job if he's living there, and that they are getting worse (his dad just got arrested). Please pray for this young man. He is confused, and desperately needs to hear The Lord speak to him telling him what to do. He knows its right to leave, go to his grandparents and learn how to be successful like his grandfather, he is just scared. Please pray for his strength and courage to make the right decision. I love him like a son and don't want to see such brilliance and beauty that God gave him, turn ugly by the drugs his parents do, and the neglect he and his brother suffer.
