Actually, I'm not asking that you pray for me. But for my friend. She is 57 years old, has 8 children, and has spent her life devoted to her husband and children. He became an alcoholic, he cheated on her, he spent their money, ran their business in the ground, and she finally got the courage to leave now that all of her children are grown and on their own. But this is the 1st time in her life that she has ever been on her own. In a matter of 2 weeks time, she lost her mother, her job, then the one son that was living with her and helping her pay the bills, moved to another city leaving her all alone. She tried to kill herself and thank God I found her in time and called 911 and she was saved and spent 2 weeks in the behavorial center receiving counseling and was assigned a social worker. I ask that you pray for her that she doesn't slip through the cracks and will receive the financial and mental health help that she needs. I can only do so much for her and just want her to be happy and healthy on her own 2 feet for the first time in her life. Please pray for Marilyn to keep the faith, find a job, and be able to take care of herself for the first time in her life. Pray for me to be able to be there for her and be able to do as much for her as I can without taking away from my own family as these are still hard times for us as well financially.
