I am so sorry for your loss. I too lost a very special loved one recently, that I took care of for nearly 19 years.. (my father), and so I understand, and can sympathize with just how much this kind of loss hurts terribly... I also just wanted to say how I've been coping with the grief as well, and that has been by reminding myself just how short life really is, and that our time & purpose right now on this earth isn't finished yet - so I've been trying my best to continue focusing on God's will, and doing my best to try & carry on - one step at a time.. So I'm praying that the Lord will give you too the same strength & comfort to do the same as well .. and that maybe someday in the future- ( when you're ready) that you may be able to find solace in volunteering, or maybe helping others (or something else that you may enjoy).. to deal with the loneliness, as I've found this has been helping me by finding support w/others out there - (who's been there too) instead of falling into a deep sadness of isolation & loneliness.
