My daughter and I are venturing out to start a new life in South Carolina. I have lived in Missouri most of my life, but since my mom's death from Alzheimer's on Mother's Day this year, we have decided to leave our home and move east to the coast and start a new life and a new adventure! I have been in prayer about this move every step of the way and God keeps opening doors for us to proceed. My daughter also just graduated from high school 4 days after my mom's death. We had cared for her in our home for ten years, and we are still going through the grieving process. Mom was our only immediate family, as my daughter had been on supervised visitation with her dad since she was five. She will be going to college once we get to South Carolina. I recently moved my mother into a VA home and when I did so my income (VA aid & attendence) stopped. I have been planning for this event for the last year, as I knew that it would happen. I have been working on starting my own home care business and was expecting to be approved for a small business loan to provide living expenses while I got the business up and running. The loan has not gone through quickly enough to replace lost income. I have put mom's old room up for rent on craig's list and also my basement, to earn extra income. I have placed items on craig's list to sell. I am putting out applications for jobs everywhere. The fact that I'm trying to come up with income doesn't seem to matter to creditors, or utility companies and I am very soon going to be facing the hard truth of things being shut off and bills going to collectors. I have a 14 year old daugther to support (whose dad only pays $400/month child support) which at this point is our only income. The business at this point looks like it's going to fail before it even gets off the ground, because banks won't loan you money when your in this kind of debt and delinquint on bills. I fear for my future and that of my daughter's. Please pray for us.

I am struggling financially. I pray that God will guide my financial decisions and show me the way.

I would ask for prayer for me and my family. My mother (86) who lives with my daughter (12) and I (47) has moderate alzheimers. It has been very hard on us lately, three generations apart, trying to get along with this disease. I ask for God's blessing and patience for me and my family. Thank you in advance for your prayers.
