God asked Noah to build a great Ark and to shelter animals from a great flood. We are now captains of a planet carrying billions of souls on a journey with no perceptible destination. We are simply tasked with being good stewards of this Ark and caring for its passengers. We can be modern day Noah caring for each other one at a time.
