Lord, thank you for your reassuring presence in the face of all the pain and tears I've had to deal with since I discovered that my boyfriend has been cheating on me. He has disrespected me as a woman and our relationship of almost 5 years. We haven't talked since I found out almost a month ago. He has apologized to me through text messages but I feel I will never have closure until I hear it from him personally. I still love him dearly despite his shortcomings but I cannot live with the man he has become -- imprisoned by his ego, the need to feel desired despite his age (he's 54). Lord, you know him before this happened. He is a good man, a loving father to his 3 daughters, a man with a conscience, intelligent, successful, humble. Please guide him back to Your loving embrace. Wash away all the negative feelings and bad influences that make him vulnerable to temptations. Give him back the heart and soul that earned him my love & respect & that of his children. If it is your will that we be together again after this trial, Thy will be done, Lord. But please help him first. He needs it more than I do. As You do Your work, whisper to him that I love him and am praying for him. Thank you, Lord.
