I have health problems that make it very hard to take care of everything that use to be so simple. Sitting, standing, walking, getting up from sitting. Cooking, cleaning, etc. have become very hard sometimes to the point that there are no clean dishes, or I can't make supper. I still have two sons living at home and they are helpful. There are limits to their help because my oldest son is blind and my younger son is developmentally challenged. My prayer is to move to a first floor apartment. My present apartment is on the second floor and the stairs are many plus there are stairs to get to the ground. I have almost fallen going down a few times it's frightful. I did fall on my way up the stairs coming back from Church two Sundays ago.. my knee just wouldn't bend enough and my foot didn't clear the step. I was just two steps from the landing to my door. I crashed landed flat out on the floor and hit my forehead on the edge of a cast iron birds wing. I thought I split my head open for sure. God is good ,,, no blood ! I got a swollen knot above my eyebrow. The next day I had a black eye and it took four days for my body to stop hurting from that fall. I need to find a safe place to live that is also affordable.
