Prayer Request
Please pray for my Sister Dorothy who has Down Syndrome and severe learning disabilities. She has not been well lately with a low blood/iron count and is not walking due to weakness in her body. I pray the Lord will place his healing hand upon her and lift her up. It is breaking my heart to watch her like this.

My prayers are with you and your sister! Sounds like she has anemia, like I do - I eat two servings of Cream of Wheat daily to help me meet my iron needs (tastes better than liver, LOL) . Be sure to have her doctor involved in her treatment, because it might not be a case of simple anemia - for example, I need to have iron infusions every few weeks.
Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. Her iron levels are very low right now and has left her very lethargic. Doctor has prescribed an iron tablet twice a day. She’s very pale. So difficult when she can’t communicate. Never heard of Cream of Wheat here in N.Ireland lol. Interesting 🤔 Thank you 🙏 again.
"Cream of Wheat is an American brand of farina, a type of breakfast porridge mix made from wheat semolina" (from Wikipedia) — tasty, but not good for people with wheat or gluten intolerance. Most people eat it sweet, but I also like it savory. Glad to hear she's under a Dr.'s care; it's not fun to resemble a starving vampire LOL
