Prayer Request
I have recently started recovery in alcohol after heavy drinking for 27 years. I am trying to build a new life from the ground up. I have been praying for Godโs Will to be done in my life several times a day. I think I am finally ready to start back to working and to live a new and happy life sober, but with my recent past work history, am afraid that it will be near impossible to find a decent job that I will enjoy. Please raise this up to the Lord for me. Thank you all and may God bless you all.

If you fear you may be tempted then you must distance yourself from this completely. Maybe consider being a counselor and give guidance to others in need as you clearly know the struggles around alcohol.
Abba Father, You are so faithful and good. Thank You for showing grace to us every single day, even though we are not worthy. Today I humbly ask in Jesus's holy name for strength and comfort for David. Help him with his recovery, give him the strength to continue on. Also, please bless him with a job that You have set aside for him. Let him find joy and fulfillment in this new job and may it meet all his financial obligations. I praise and thank You in advance for answering this prayer. Amen.

One day at a time . God will handle the rest . 10 years sober and thatโs how I did it . Keep it simple just keep going to ur meetings and listen to your sponsor. Everything in time will fall into place as Gid knows your heart ๐ฉท
Only think of what will be and not what has been. A good job will find you as long as you trust in God.

I Drank and used for over 35 years and haven clean for 18 years now. I know its not easy starting out but you can do this with God's help.
