You sure have your hands full. You need to use "tough love" with your son. McDonald's is always hiring so there is no excuse for him not to work somewhere until he finds a job he wants. Tell him he either needs to pitch in or he has to be out in 30 days. I know it's not easy (I raised 2 sons on my own), but sometimes you have to be tough--for their sake as well as your own. If you take control of what you can (and you can with your son) and put your faith in the Lord to help with the things you cannot control, it will automatically calm your nerves. Your son is an adult and you are no longer responsible for him. You can't keep allowing him to use electricity, water, and other resources without contributing. He is too old for that nonsense and it's time for him to grow up. If he won't do it on his own, you have to make him do it. You will be much better off on your own without the stress of worrying about him and paying more because he is there. At 19 yrs old, you either go to school or go to work. That's called "life." You can't allow him to stay in this rut any longer. The longer we're in a rut, the harder it is to get out of it. God bless you.
