Prayer Request
Please pray that my prayer life wil be enhanced!
I am finding it difficult to read God`s word and take it in! I am 77 and have many maladies including memory loss etc. I get very confused and anxious and depressed as more and more I find it harder to achieve even the necessities of life!
Is this what old age is like foreveryone?

Praying for you Carole, and my heart goes out to you poor dear! the Enemy makes old age so difficult for some,, making divisions between people where there should be help and company.. Until Heaven on Earth is established (soon I think), read the easiest and most powerful scriptures such as the qualities of God. It is written "God is Love" and also that "Love is Patient, love is Kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the Truth. It always Protects, always Trusts, always Hopes, always Perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13 Meditate on this miracle that while God who supersedes all matter and beings can be these qualities that are so wonderfully familiar. It is because we have the seed of these qualities, as we are made in God's image. Praying for you Carole!
I`ve just read your reply Marianne as I had forgotten that I asked for prayer as my head seems almost permanently confused these days! I also have had Tinnitus for the last few months and the noises in my head/ears make things even worse! I was pleased to hear that you are praying for me and hope to feel better physically and mentally in future days! I will read and meditate on 1 Cor.13 as you suggest. Thankyou!
