my mum passed away from dementia in 2018 so know how you feel seeing a woman that was so full of life drifting away from this awful disease wish there was more people that could do more to stop this disease, i cry when i think of her but also know she is looking down on me so i pray you feel the comfort of god at this time and know that deep down shes still in there its just the mind that forgets and unfortunately when gets bad its hard to repair it, my mum was 73 so for your mum being 88 and still here on earth id do anything for a bit more time with mine, i know its hard as had to see my mum that way but died peacefully with family around her even if didnt know who we were. god bless you and pray god keeps you close and touches your heart to heal. amen x

Just know that God is with you, He said that he would never leave nor forsake us, and he will never put more on us than we can bear. My prayer is that you look to the Lord for strength and peace, and know that when you've done all you can , just stand and He will do the rest. He knows your heart and He also knows your Mother. Stay strong in the Lord and he will see you both through these difficult times, he's in control at all times and knows what's best for us. In Jesus' Name.

We come before You today to lift up Diana in prayer. You have seen her dedication, her love, and her unwavering commitment as she cared for her mother through the challenges of dementia. Lord, as she faces this transition.
We ask that You fill Diana’s heart with comfort, Ease any feelings of guilt or sadness, and remind her that she has given five years of unwavering devotion—a gift of love that reflects Your own compassion.
Lord, bless her mother as she settles into memory care. May she be surrounded by kindness, patience, and understanding, receiving the support she needs. Let Diana feel peace in knowing she has placed her mother in a place of safety and care.
Grant Diana strength in this new season—renew her spirit, replenish her energy, and remind her that You walk beside her. May she find moments of joy, knowing her mother is still deeply loved. Let her heart be filled with gratitude for the time they have shared, and may she continue to feel Your presence in every step of this journey.

Oh I am very sorry about your mom, and her sickness and what your going through, I just lost my mom she died from a heart attack 3 years ago. I'll be praying for your mom ,
