Prayer Request

Hi everyone, during my first semester at Virginia Commonwealth University I didn't do so well academically. Before I got there I did well (remaining atleast above a 2.0) for my year and a half of being in college. As I started at VCU I was confident I could continue doing well. Like I always do I sought help in the tutoring lab and I studied through out the week. My major was business but something was not clicking, especially the math that was required in every class I had taken. I have never been a strong math student, but I couldn't see myself withdrawing from the classes because I would feel like a failure but in reality I should have done that. So when I found out my ending GPA I was very disappointed in myself but I also knew that I could make a come back. Now I have changed my major to Criminal Justice which I believe I will excel at. Since I fell below the GPA standards to receive financial aid, I got an email from my school saying I won't be able to receive aid because of that. I understand where they are coming from and I can get it appealed, which is great! I know I can improve my grades and I hope the financial aid counselors will be able to see that. I feel I could have done somethings to improve my grades like working less and having better studying techniques, but just starting at VCU last semester I did put forth a great effort I feel. I know God can get me through this because he has never let me down before and I know he won't now! Please pray that the financial aid counselors see that I will improve my grade next semester and give me my financial aid for next semester! Thanks again everyone!
