I am praying for the family of my ex-girlfriend and forever friend, Laura Golden, who died tragically Saturday. Please watch over her partner Deborah; her parents, Ellen and Paul; her sister Catherine and her nephews, Terrell, Jayden and Malachi, as well as the rest of her family. May God provide comfort to us all and help us see the joy in her being at peace, something that eluded her far too often in life. She was absolutely Class A Amazing.
Tomorrow, I take my NCLEX-RN exam to become a licensed registered nurse. My faith sustained me through the rigors of nursing school and helped me pass, despite MANY obstacles and seven failed tests. This is the culmination of a five-year effort to rebuild my life after a terrible divorce. I have two sons, 7 and 4, and a wonderful new wife. Please pray for me tomorrow as I take my boards. I want to help others, particularly the less fortunate, mentally ill and chemically addicted. And I want to help my family, who has so loyally stood behind me. Thank you and God bless you.
My nursing final is in two days and this second-year course is very difficult. I didn't know the right study skills early on in the semester and didn't do well on the first two tests. I did better on the last one. I need a 79 or better on the final to pass the course or I'm out of nursing school till at least the summer. In nursing school (which is much harder than college), that's far from a sure thing.
I'm 36, with a wife and two kids. We are financially struggling. I've had a lot of adversity in my life, but if I can pass this course and one more after it, I'll be graduating in April and taking the NCLEX a month later to become an RN. For my family, my wife, my kids and my parents and parents-in-law, who have been so wonderfully supportive, please pray for me as I study. I need to pass. I know I'll be a compassionate, insightful and caring nurse -- I just need to get there. Thank you.
Submit your prayer request. Thousands of caring people will see it and pray for you.
