Dear Lord,
I ask you to please carry me through another day of grieving the death of my son, Jerome. Be my only focus, so I can go to work today and do the best job I possibly can. Let your spirit overcome mine, so I may have your strength, you wisdom, and knowledge of the Kingdom to come, and not be trapped in my human feelings and thoughts. I worship you, I praise you, and I give you glory for you are the holy one and only Lord.
