Dear Lord, please lead the investigators to those who brutally murdered my best friend, my brother. Lord, please take this hate from my heart. (My brother was shot in the stomach to disable him in his own home, then the house was set afire.) Thank you, Lord, for putting the fire out so he didn't burn alive. Please Lord, give my mother some solace and comfort in her deepest grief and loss and give me the strength to be here for her and comfort her in any way I can. Please God, guide us in this tragedy and let your will be known. Lord, be with my family and give us the strength to lay this horrible burden at your feet and trust that you know all and that justice will be done, in Heaven if not on earth. Amen.
